A video contest for youths aged 7 to 18 years of age in the Edmonton capital region, promoting the "Be Idle Free" message to reduce vehicle idling.
1. Enter on your own or form a group of up to 3 members.
2. Create a video of up to 3 minutes (recorded, animated, etc.).
3. Upload the video.
4. Get your friends to vote!

(1) Video must include (verbally, written or in action) at least one of the following key messages:
- Idling wastes gas and is harmful to the environment.
- Vehicle idling affects local air quality which can affect respiratory health.
- Rather than warming (or cooling) your car by idling, dress for the weather.
(2) Video must not include foul or offensive language or visuals.
(3) Entrants need written permission from all persons who were engaged to work on the entry, appear in the entry in any manner (e.g. visual or voiceover), or have contributed to the entry. Winners will be required to submit these before being able to claim their prize. A sample model release form can be found at www.edmonton.ca/BeIdleFree.
(4) Entrants must be between the ages 7 to 18 years (inclusive) as of the submission deadline. Categories are ages 7-11 years, 12-14 years and 15-18 years. If the ages of group members are in more than one category, please submit under the age of the oldest group member.
(5) Entrants must be residents of Alberta.

- By submitting a video to this contest, entrant(s) permit the ACAA and its members/partners use of the video, in whole or in part.
- By submitting a video to this contest, entrant(s) agree that they have read and followed the contest rules and requirements.
- Category prize winners will be chosen by the number of votes. Categories are ages 7-11 years, 12-14 years, 15-18 years. The grand prize winner will be chosen by a panel of judges and can be from any category.
